Pastel Portraits
Pastel portraits are rich and luminous, due to the special properties of soft pastel. Because of the medium, they do need to be handled with extra care when framing. Please note that I do not use any kind of fixative on my pastel paintings, as I know from painful first-hand experience that spraying a pastel piece with fixative, while helping (not eliminating) the possible smudge issue, also sinks the pastel pigments into the paper. This dulls the painting, effectively eliminating the luminous quality which sets soft pastel apart. I do provide tips on proper handling with the painting when it is shipped, although you are always welcome to contact me with questions regardless. Pastel portraits may be created in any size , according to your individual needs and preference. Below is a list of "standard" sizes and prices to provide you with an idea; custom sizes are priced on an individual basis. Prices are based on single-subject portraits; additional subjects are between $40 to $70 each, depending on the size.

Portrait Ornaments
Capture cherished memories in a beautiful hand-painted keepsake. Portrait ornaments are painted in acrylic. I use plastic imitation glass"shatterproof" ornaments that are 4" in diameter as they are more durable than glass or ceramic. Price is based on one subject. Additional subjects are $20 each.

Natural Materials Ornaments - $48 each for a custom - made piece. Maximum two subjects.
